Jacob Anderson

About Me

My name is Jacob (E) Anderson, and I am a freshman (Class of 27) at the University of Texas at Dallas, I am immensely ambitious about attending college, and I desire to major in artificial intelligence. My dream is to work for a compelling technology company that believes in the potential of artificial intelligence to give computers the ability to think like humans and ahead of them.

It is believed that the typical application needs to ask more of its applicants, and for the few applicants like me who want to maximize our appeal, a portfolio is enough to fill that gap. With that, I thank everyone who is taking the time to read through my page, and it is my goal that my passion for technology is made distinguishable through my portfolio.

Life Outside of My Classes

Programming

One of the many things I like to do outside of school is programming. In my free time, I'll find myself working on a project, like developing Discord chatbots using JDA (Java Discord API), testing the limits of GitHub's Copilot AI programmer, inspiring my future with OpenAI GPT-2 AI text generation alongside DALL-E 2 AI image generation, and expanding my programming knowledge using my Codecademy Pro account provided by my school.

Work

Outside of my classes, I spend my free mornings substituting at my local high school. This allows me to stay connected with my community, while motivating current students to attend college.

Through years of programming as a hobby, I have practiced in many languages and IDEs.

The following list is of languages I am confident in after practicing, studying, and experimenting

I can also confidently use the following programs for development
